‘I am love’ is a piece of music which Joy’s father wrote for her Mum. Joy and her production team worked created a version of the beautiful song in 2020 and released it. Joy selflessly volunteers for Keep It 100 Youth CIC as an ambassador and Mentor, due to her concern for young people and the rise in violence and knife crime. KI100 Founder Luisa Di Marco and Joy, first met in London in the 90’s, and have remained close friends ever since. Joy performed ‘I am love’ at Knife Angel Chelmsford vigil in September 2021, and the power of her performance was a catalyst to many young people reaching out to Keep It 100 for signposting to agencies for support with multiple matters, including giving up weapons, mental ill health & sexual violence. Joy is, as Leann Rimes quite accurately recently described her when turning her chair in ITV ‘The Voice’ auditions.. A JOY. Just as the world needs more love, the world also would benefit immensely from more Joy.

when i walked onto my first day of filming @thevoiceuk, i had no idea of what to expect. this show really put my improv skills to the test. it’s all about rolling with what’s in front of you and i have to say I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the challenge and that energy! so, when this happened, as you’ll see by face, i was in a bit of a shock because i was SERIOUSLY JET LAGGED, as i just flew in from australia and walked straight on to set and to be honest, i wasn’t sure i could even walk to the stage at this point, 😂 but a magical moment happened… #REALLY

you are pure joy, @joyfarrukh and i am SO honored that i got to share this special moment with you.

i can’t even begin to tell you how much fun we had filming this series. we laugh, we cry, we get a little competitive and then we (mainly @tomfletcher and i) cry some more…). tune in tonight on @itv and you’ll see why!!

I Am Love is a love song shared with the world based on the true love experience of my parents longstanding marriage. It encapsulates the respect, honour and kindness shared in a true love connection.

I’m proud to be an advocate for Keep It 100 Essex. Raising awareness of youth knife crime and all of the associated problems that are caused is important to me. Love is how the world can be made a better place!
