Are you really still in love?

This might be the question we’ve been asked the most through all these years.
Well… you want the truth? No. Of course not.

You don’t stay in love.
You refall in love, over and over and over again.

Yes, I do think I was lucky to find my soulmate early in life, but it never stopped there.
I kept finding a soulmate, a partner, a best friend and no, not in a cliché way, a lover and a safe space, in every chapter, again and again.

I loved the cheeky you, the witty you, the boy, the man, the ambitious, the calm, the chaotic, the angry, the happy and all the versions of you that I’ve met.
And somehow, they all matched mine.
They all completed my journey, my ups and downs, my mess ups and my successes.

I truly believe it could have never been anyone else.
It was, is and always will be you.

And boy, oh boy… I’m excited to meet you in our next chapter. The scariest one so far, but the one everything we ever went through led to.

Could you imagine?
Half of me, half of you?
I don’t think the world is ready for that guy.

Little boy, we promise you’ll never question what love is in this household.
You’ll be surrounded by it, messy, raw and real love.
The kind that will always encourage you to be you, no matter the chapter, no matter the season, no matter the surroundings. Always be you.

When your parents visit the place you now call home, it fills it with something no decor ever could. Memories.

It might not make sense unless you’ve lived abroad, but home truly becomes "home" when the ones who raised you leave their laughter and love in its corners.🏡❤️

We sometimes tend to forget, but this is our parent's first time living this life too. Try your best to make them happy just like they made sure you were growing up.

Oh and tbh having them here for my 30th, after missing so many birthdays together, was just the cherry on top 🍒🎂
