Amped up the shop with a custom neon sign from @crazyneonofficial and it looks dope! It was super easy to get this made; I just sent them the design and their team created a mockup and shared it with me in no time. After approval, they manufactured the sign & delivered it within a week. That was really quick! ⚡🖤

I’ve ridden for over 300 days in a row (everyday this year) & am feelin’ pretty dang good on the bike; stoked to start bringing some old combos back into the mix. ⚡️🖤

Have you ever done something that just feels 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵?

It’s one of my favorite experiences in life, and lately, I’ve been feeling it more and more. Earlier in the week this 1985 Schwinn Sierra found its way into my life & when I took it for the first ride, I felt that deep sense of alignment. It wasn’t just about the bike—it was about how right everything felt in that moment. It’s the kind of feeling where you’re not thinking about what’s next or trying to make something happen—you’re just in it, fully present, and everything flows naturally.

On that ride, I had some time to reflect on why I’ve been feeling this sense of ease and contentment more than ever lately. And I realized: it’s a byproduct of living as the most genuine version of myself, of being intentional about my actions, and most importantly, not forcing things. There’s something incredibly freeing about letting go of the need to control every outcome, and trusting that the right things will come when you create the right conditions. This is the key; making choices & sacrifices to create conditions that all things to come at the right time.

Now, don’t get me wrong—working hard with a growth mindset and pushing yourself is important & fosters an enviroment where these conditions exist, but there’s a difference between effort and force. When you’re forcing something to work, whether it’s in your career, relationships, or even a simple task, you can feel the tension. It’s that feeling when you keep pushing forward but nothing feels quite right, like trying to force a puzzle piece that doesn’t fit. And no matter how much you adjust, it still leaves you unsatisfied. We all know the feeling & it’s not a good one.

But when you allow things to flow naturally, when you align your actions with who you truly are, that’s when magic happens. It’s a quiet confidence, a sense of ease that allows you to move through life without constantly battling against the current. This is the feeling I crave in every aspect of life & one I’m grateful to experience as often as I do lately.
Now it’s your turn, share a moment you’ve experienced everything just *clicking*.

This gap has nothing to do with the video @mikemurfitt and I were filming for @joyof.bike yesterday. But it sure did look fun.

Learn how to master the 180 disaster in 3 simple steps with our latest @joyof.bike video!
First start by flying out of a quarter pipe to make sure you can get to the deck smoothly, once you’re comfortable with that move on to fly out 180’s to the deck. Got that down? Now it’s time for the disaster!
As you approach the quarter at a slight angle, pull back on your bars as you pop while initiating your spin, the goal is to do a full 180 so you land perpendicular to the coping, for best results aim to land at the same time with your back wheel on the deck & your front wheel on the face of the ramp. Keep your weight balanced over the bottom bracket, pedals level, with the goal being to feel your bike lock in place as you land. From there, gently shift your weight forward to roll back in smoothly.
