After the second audition show, the real competition begins…now!!!
Each week, the choirs grow, sharpening their voices, refining their sound, and learning lessons that last a lifetime. Some even rise through the years… all the way to the top.

“Garota de Ipanema” by Vinícius de Moraes & Tom Jobim (Steel Pan)

The smooth sounds of bossa nova with the sweet sounds of steel 🛢️🎶

An excerpt from a performance I did with Sounds of Joy on Christmas Eve 🎄

Which song would you like to hear me play next?

✨Sounds of JOY 🎄🎶

⏩⏩ swipe for some tunes 😅

I had the pleasure of accompanying renowned Jamaican pianist, Joy Brown and her group Sounds of Joy to spread the Christmas spirit with the sounds of steel 🛢️

Thank you Aunty Joy for this opportunity.

Picking up these sticks and strumming this beautiful instrument is something that moves me in more ways than one. I remember being introduced to pan in high school and dreaming for the day that I would be able to perform with a pan that I could call my own. But as I’ve set out on a non-traditional career path in my home country, I’ve grown less and less motivated to play as I focus on creating a solid stream of business for sound engineering.

This year, I’ve been learning to embrace what sparked my love for the wonderful world of sound in the first place – music. 🎶

I hope 2025 will not only sound great, but will be filled with many more musical moments to be shared with you all.

Happy holidays, from Milton (the pan man) 🛢️🎶
