One of the most beautiful parts of teaching for me has been seeing little girls & boys connect with the dance style and South African culture 🇿🇦❤️

Afro dance is already so familiar to many people, so it can feel easier to jump into. Amapiano, on the other hand, can be a bit of an acquired taste.

But the more you hear it, see it and dance to it, the more you start to understand it — and eventually, you fall in love with it. 🥹❤️‍🔥

That’s one of my favourite things about teaching Amapiano: watching people go from “I don’t know about this” to “PLAY THAT SONG AGAIN!” 😂

More than just teaching steps, I love introducing people to the music, movement and culture behind it.

Come experience it for yourself 💃🏾🇿🇦 @joyswitches
