Dancing on stage with my STEPS family, meeting new people, and watching other dancers perform were really inspiring experiences. I’m so glad we were able to create memories that will last a lifetime.

Had such a great time at the @yagp 2024 New York Finals! Congratulations for celebrating 25 years! 🎉 Thanks to this organization, i was able to compete internationally and dance in a renowned theater alongside talented and inspiring dancers from around the world. I, never in my life would have imagined that I would be able to perform at the David Koch Theater at the Lincoln Center. Baby me would freak out if he found out that I danced on a New York City stage.

Thank you so much to my Steps Family, @ygpphilippines , @enjoyglobe and my family for the unending support and for making all of this possible. I also would like to thank my coaches, Teacher Jeff @pushkinmisha , Teacher Pam @pamsie_8976 , Teacher Jun @junsaagundo , Coach Rhosam @sickledsam and Coach Robert @balletsportscienceph . I wouldn’t be on that stage dancing if it weren’t for your guidance, trust, and hard work. And of course, Teacher Sofia @sofiazelizalde . Thank you for believing in our talents and for always motivating us to be better and better. Words aren’t enough to express how grateful I am to have you as a Director.

I will always cherish all the memories that I’ve made in NYC. From sharing the stage with my peers, to meeting new friends from all over the world. To my co-Pre-Prof, competing alongside you guys made the experience more special! We started dancing together with 30+ kids in our batch and now there’s 7 of us, in an international competition along with younger dancers from our school, proudly representing our school and our country. needless to say, I’m so proud of our growth and the kind of artists we’ve become.

Looking forward to what the future holds and what the next chapter’s going to be 🤍
