Jesus & Robby HDC Season 1:Photoshoot 1

Duet shoot
This is the season where I have been trying out my zoom burst style in portraits. The hallways flooring has a nice reflective quality that I wanted to take advantage. 📸🎞️

These photos were taken on the 5c floor as my first photoshoot loved the setting we were there for probably 3-4hrs. The solos and duet shoots are coming soon.
My concept for these were to have everyone fits be different then the interview and the best fit that represents them.

When I started this series it was all about the focus on not just showcasing different Artist voices. I knew that this can be a staple moment in time for the start of doing interviews and continue into things set for the future.

Be sure to keep up with the interviews by following and subscribing to the @nylas.multimedia platform.

More than numbers this is pivotal to my college experience and a special personal project. But as I mentioned in previous videos this is start of real perspectives of the Artist and creatives for the now and the future.

HDCS: Interview #4 Jesus
Jesus an Artist with a major in Connecticut with a major 3D Animation. While Jesus’ core graphic T-shirt and put-together look were like the opposite to Kamau but it worked for the interview.

1st Photoshoot on the rare occasion of the 5c floor without paintings. It was something connected the art of the artist for my 1st photoshoot. I really got to geek out about all my concepts and ideas.

Thank you Justin ( @one.n.only.justin ) for coming and assisting in the photography. Justin came to me after I ask to do his fit check. He volunteered to record one of my fit checks during a busy time in the Winter Quarter. Justin helped me record a few of the videos before I received the tripods and mini microphones. I had to get creative for my interviews. 😅. He also volunteered to work both + three hours during the first photo shoot supporting me in many ways including the BTS for the shoot . I will forever be grateful.

Thank you too Ameera ( @forever_loved_ameera ) who help with the flow of the shoot . I want to of course thank my peers for being apart of the interviews and photoshoot. Thank you to Cathy (@pure_artisan22 )
Thank you Mel ( @m3lspace_ )
Thank you Aigner (@plutopasta ),
Thank you Feifan (@feifan96 )
Thank you Austin (@austin_scooby_ )
Thank you Robby (@_robbywasabi_ )
Thank you Jesus(@jpalo_m )
Thank you Chase(@chasecorallo29 )
After several moodboard images and notion list of concept development I am ready to begin the first photo shoot . This whole project is putting me in my Art Direction focus. I start directing my models positions, and the placement of the lighting. In addition merged the older techniques along with new accessories. It was special having my first photoshoot taken on my own Canon R100 because it’s my first official professional camera that I’ve owned . One of my favorite moments of the shoot other than seeing the turn out ☺️ was listening to all the random and interesting conversations . It would’ve never came together without yall.

Thanks again to everyone who participated in Season 1. Let’s get this Honey Drip Check started .
