As we head into the fall and I’m fresh off a month off of all social media, it’s time for my (now) annual October production shot post of my summer work.

I had such an incredible summer creating amazing stories with even more amazing people; from May to September.

A huge thank you to the directors, performers, musicians, designers, assistants, associates, photographers, collaborators and crew that I had the pleasure to cross paths with this summer; but especially @catebthe_spark @justovisionplus @nicolettegoldartistry @mollies_magic_hairspray @malimu13 @joanharlow00 for helping me make all these wigs and techs happen!

🎙️This just in: A critically acclaimed docudrama joins our 2026/27 Season!

We’re thrilled to announce that Eric Bentley's ARE YOU NOW OR HAVE YOU EVER BEEN? is coming to Arena this fall, straight from its Off-Broadway run at New York City Center. Tony Award winner Anna D. Shapiro will also direct this remounting in the Kreeger Theater, starting October 17.

Using real transcripts, this electrifying docudrama drops you into the tense world of the 1940s House Committee on Un-American Activities hearings, where fame offered no protection and political pressure could end a career.

Tickets are on sale now exclusively for subscribers and groups.
Tickets will go on sale to the public on September 15.

No idea what to say about MEAN GIRLS @capeplayhouse except thank you and Happy Closing! It all goes so fast sometimes I feel like I can’t keep up. So many humans to acknowledge and celebrate including @pleasehuntme and @bettymweinberger who made it possible for me to do work I am so proud of. Insider secret- when I’m in prepro I usually play the principal actors so I can feel my way around the number and make sure it all feels motivated. Catch me playing a Plastic in slide four. God forbid I ever make Melissa mad- she has videos of me in EVERY role. Think about that ;)

Love yall- thank you. I’m so proud and grateful. Wish I could be there. I’ll say it one last time- FETCH.

Puppets for adults! Jeff Talbott and Will Van Dyke are truly beautiful artists — I’m astounded by their genius. They took a brutal story, a woman facing eye cancer and the adult son who comes home to take care of her, and told it with puppets. When a story is too scary to look at straight on: puppets. ⁠

For most of fuzzy, one puppeteer was written to puppet all of the characters — that’s many puppets and only two arms. ⁠
⁠
If a puppet wants to gesture and talk at the same time, that takes both arms… so the entire first part of the process was figuring out where everybody’s hands and feet needed to go. ⁠

Teddy Yudain was that puppeteer. Everyone ended up lending a helping hand.⁠

After 70 minutes of not touching a puppet, fuzzy climaxes when the protagonist finally picks up his own damn puppet and plays himself. I’ve rarely seen form and content work together so seamlessly.⁠

The Serangoon Gardens Techno Party of 1993 swept four awards at The Straits Times Life Theatre Awards 2026, taking home Production of the Year, Best Original Script (Joel Tan), Best Actress (@cocowangling), and Best Supporting Actor (@junvinht)! 🏆🎉

Congratulations to Joel, @cocowangling, @junvinht, and to director @simyanying and the entire cast and creative team behind this bold, unapologetic, and deeply Singaporean show! Thank you so much to The Straits Times (@fernshewrote, @shawnhycshawn, & @recliningbeing) for this recognition.

This one’s for everyone who came on this wild ride with us. Thank you all for loving this production and its characters as much as we do. ❤️

What. A. Trip. 💥

Thank you all for coming to party with us at 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗻 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝟭𝟵𝟵𝟯 — our wild ride has now come to an end!

We’re so grateful to everyone who joined us over the last few weeks on this loud, unapologetic, and deeply Singaporean adventure. Thank you for supporting new local plays, and for going on this epic bender with Candice and the gang ❤️

We’ll leave you with a beautiful quote from our director, @simyanying: “𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗻 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝟭𝟵𝟵𝟯 is a battle cry for freedom, and a love letter to anyone who has ever felt trapped by the weight of expectation. Due to popular demand, we’re releasing $35 standing tickets for our final day of performances tomorrow. How to get them:

🎟️ $35 per ticket for both the 2:30pm and 7:30pm performances on Sat 1 Nov 2025
📍 Standing spots will be by the left & right sides of the theatre in the stalls
💳 Payment methods: Credit/debit cards, PayNow

✅ Limited to 16 standing tickets per show
✅ Available for purchase 1 hour before showtime at the Wild Rice box office (1:30pm, 6:30pm)
✅ Maximum of 1 ticket per person
✅ First come, first served — we are unable to do any holds or reservations in advance for standing tickets.
