One year of living without my biggest hero of all time. ❤️ This sucks. I really feel like things have been massively different since you left us. I would love more than anything to give you call today and have one of those long rambling deep conversations you were so good at. I get it, but still, would have loved to have you here to grow old with. You shaped me in so many hidden ways Jamie. Love you always. xox

After laying our dad in the ground today, playing some late night scrabble, it felt like he was here with us, so many words that referred to him. Some questionable legalities but we let them in in his honour.

One gift he taught us all that we will keep giving forever. Every now and then he wakes up to sing along and dances with his hands. A few nights ago, in one of his drifts in and out, he said to me 'watch out for the song!' Don't worry Papa, I'm always on the lookout. The song will never die, even if I have to stop and cry from time to time.

"Two fat ladies! Number 88!" The beautiful old heavy monster Guild has slayed a couple tracks already, the '75 yamaha still yet to feature. #spoiltforchoice #thedropCisforCountry
