POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

She did it! Quinn completed her XC 2026 season today in the cold! She found out she didn’t love running and these past few months were definitely a challenge for her. She committed though and we saw so much growth. I know running with her sister was a motivator and Reese was so great at supporting her. The whole program cheered her on at the end and got her to the finish line…XC athletes are just the best! And go, Quinny - you CAN do HARD things and your legs will NOT fall off. ❤️

Great news!! John Chilcote successfully defended his dissertation today.
Drs. Kha Do and Joe Harrod formed a dream team committee. A real triumph.

She got her first job at 14 and it has been such a blessing! Reese has always been motivated to have her own money. If we would offer up some $ for an extra chore she would jump. She and a buddy from her childhood would clean out cars for a few bucks. When she found out Young’s Jersey Dairy would hire at 14, she applied. This job has been an anchor of her teen years. She has learned so much about work ethic, customer service, maintaining work/life balance, and the value of money. Big moment - buying her own car! She is way more prepared for life away from us because of the many things taught through this job that she has sustained for over 3 years. So proud of you, Reese!#seniorsunday #firstjob

Almost 25 years after first seeing the #DoveAwards on TV, I got to actually attend last night! So cool to see so many talented artists glorifying God and even meet some big names 😁

I'm sworn to secrecy about who won, but you can find out this Friday night by watching the telecast on @tbn!

Haden’s first homecoming! Getting a guy ready is much different than a girl! Handsome and ready to have a fun night with his girl.

Senior Sunday
This past week we got her senior pictures done with the talented @momentsbymegan__ . We were blessed with the most magical evening light. Reese’s own beautiful light was shining along with it. (And yes, I was the weepy mom in the background begging time to slow down. )
Here are a couple sneak peeks…😍

More to come from @experienceconference, but I wanted to make a special post for the amazing time I had in a cowrite with Marie, John, and John Green (sorry John I can’t find your Instagram!!). We walked into the writing room with open hands and had a blast writing with each other and getting to know each other. I’m so thankful for these three and their hearts for The Lord and worshipping Him! This is probably my favorite cowrite I’ve had at this conference, and it’s only draft 1 of the song! I hope this music and these lyrics touch your hearts like they’ve touched mine🥹 “I See Your Miracles”

This incredibly smart, gifted man is in the home stretch of finishing his doctoral dissertation this week. If you know him , you know he may be one of the busiest people you will ever meet and a major project like this during this life stage could almost be impossible. But you may also know that he is an excellent teacher, leader and musician up to task. Most importantly he is a devoted father and husband that makes sure there is always time to be there for his family. BUT now it’s crunch time. Please send out a prayer for @jpchilcote as he finishes this long race and the deadline is just about here. Pray that God gives him endurance, clarity and all the WORDS of this mammoth work that he is writing. To complete his Ph.D. Keep going, @jpchilcote - almost there! We are ALL cheering for you. ❤️
