Every workout. Every rehab session. Every healthy choice. Someone is watching. This isn’t just about building a stronger core. It’s about building a life where you can continue showing up for the people who matter most. Your kids won’t remember how much weight you lifted. They’ll remember seeing a parent who valued their health, embraced challenges, and refused to let pain dictate their life. Sometimes the greatest outcome of physical therapy isn’t getting out of pain. It’s becoming the example someone else grows up watching. Want healthier knees and ankles? Start training how to absorb force. Everyone wants to jump higher. Run faster. Cut quicker. But here’s what most athletes overlook: Deceleration. Your body has to absorb force before it can produce it again. That’s why good deceleration mechanics can help reduce stress on the knees, ankles, hips, and even the lower back. If you’re only training speed—but never practicing how to control it—you may be missing one of the most important pieces of performance. Train the brakes. Not just the engine. ______________________________ Orthostrength Physical Therapy Helping active adults🏋🏻🏃🏼‍♀️ and athletes stay strong, pain-free, and performing at their best. 📍Cranford, NJ 📧 info@orthostrength.pt 🎥 @jetplanejay @jpjaymedia ☎️ (908) 514-8407 💻 www.orthostrengthpt.com ⬆️More performance Less pain. Dry needling and cupping can help reduce pain, improve mobility, and decrease muscular tension. But treatment is only part of the equation. The real change happens when we follow it up with movement and loading strategies that teach the body how to perform again. Reset. Restore. Rebuild. ______________________________ Orthostrength Physical Therapy Helping active adults🏋🏻🏃🏼‍♀️ and athletes stay strong, pain-free, and performing at their best. 📍Cranford, NJ 📧 info@orthostrength.pt 🎥 @jetplanejay @jpjaymedia ☎️ (908) 514-8407 💻 www.orthostrengthpt.com ⬆️More performance Less pain. A lot of people think rehab is bands, stretches, and avoiding movement. At some point, it needs to become training. The goal isn’t to become dependent on treatment. The goal is to become stronger, more resilient, and more capable than before. Exercises like this challenge balance, coordination, hip strength, and trunk control—all qualities that carry over to running, lifting, and life. Because recovery isn’t about getting back to where you were. It’s about building where you’re going. ______________________________ Orthostrength Physical Therapy Helping active adults🏋🏻🏃🏼‍♀️ and athletes stay strong, pain-free, and performing at their best. 📍Cranford, NJ 📧 info@orthostrength.pt 🎥 @jetplanejay @jpjaymedia ☎️ (908) 514-8407 💻 www.orthostrengthpt.com ⬆️More performance Less pain. Most shoulder injuries don’t happen because athletes are weak. They happen because athletes don’t have enough capacity. The shoulder has to tolerate thousands of throws every season. That requires: ✔ strength ✔ stability ✔ control ✔ endurance The goal isn’t just pain relief. It’s creating a shoulder that can handle the demands of sport. That’s performance rehab. ______________________________ Orthostrength Physical Therapy Helping active adults🏋🏻🏃🏼‍♀️ and athletes stay strong, pain-free, and performing at their best. 📍Cranford, NJ 📧 info@orthostrength.pt 🎥 @jetplanejay @jpjaymedia ☎️ (908) 514-8407 💻 www.orthostrengthpt.com ⬆️More performance Less pain. You can use a leg extension, leg press, or barbell to build your legs… But sometimes all you need is one dumbbell and the right position. The split squat trains your legs in an asymmetrical stance—just like running, cutting, and sport. It challenges balance, control, and strength all at once. Why it helps knee pain: 1. Builds strength through each leg individually 2. Improves control in the bottom position (where most pain shows up) 3. Reinforces stability at the top for push-off and power If you can own both ends of the movement, your knees handle load better. Simple setup. Big carryover. ______________________________ Orthostrength Physical Therapy Helping active adults🏋🏻🏃🏼‍♀️ and athletes stay strong, pain-free, and performing at their best. 📍Cranford, NJ 📧 info@orthostrength.pt ☎️ (908) 514-8407 💻 www.orthostrengthpt.com ⬆️More performance Less pain. Tight upper back? Stubborn knots in your traps or neck? Pairing dry needling with cupping is a powerful combo for calming down trigger points and restoring movement. Dry needling helps release deep muscular tension, while cupping improves circulation and tissue mobility around the area. Most people notice the same thing after a session: less pressure, easier neck movement, and a lighter feeling through the upper back. From there, we follow it up with the right exercises so the relief actually translates into stronger, better movement. Reset the tissue. Restore the motion. Then build strength. ______________________________ Orthostrength Physical Therapy Helping active adults🏋🏻🏃🏼‍♀️ and athletes stay strong, pain-free, and performing at their best. 📍Cranford, NJ 📧 info@orthostrength.pt ☎️ (908) 514-8407 💻 www.orthostrengthpt.com ⬆️More performance Less pain.
