Some of my favorite bookstores and authors, my family, and most of all, readers who love books and dogs (!)—I couldn’t imagine a more magical launch week for Dog Person. 🐾 And @bookcellarchicago surprised me with the most gorgeous (and delicious) cake at my reading. So grateful for the book community. 💙📚💛

Closed out the year with a little bit of solitude, a whole lot of snow, and renewed optimism for what’s up ahead. ✨ Wishing everyone a 2026 filled with bestsellers and better days. 🥂

R&R weekend in Saugatuck with @jplpagan. Highlight of the trip: @emilybleekerauthor left the most fabulous mug for me at The Book Nook (one of my favorite indie bookstores). 📚 It says: “Behind every successful woman is herself.” 💫✨

We used to spend most of our summers in Puerto Rico. Now our kids are teenagers, with surprisingly complicated schedules. A week doesn’t feel like enough—but the last one with our family was especially wonderful, and I’m so grateful for that.

Can’t truly say I’m out of office because I’m still writing book 12 and launching a new course. But being in my favorite place with my family 🇵🇷 makes it feel like that. 💕

Week in the Upper Peninsula = perfect mid-year reset. (And I may have brainstormed a book or three… ✨)

Test Fest ‘25 is all about putting next year’s skis and snowboards to the test. We only bring in what we’d have our friends and family ride. Nothing hits our sales floor without the nod from this awesome crew. I love these peeps so much. Give them a shout next time you’re in!
