🌲 🐾 🍺 Took the girls west for a day of woods, trails, the Rock River and small-town Illinois. Britney explored everything, Miley conquered an unreasonable number of stairs, and we finished with beers in Lena.

Turns out getting out of Chicago with these three once a month is becoming one of my favorite traditions. ❤️

(We also found two headless chickens on a riverbank, but that feels like a story for another day.)

DC (and Balti-moer), with some of our favorite people. 💙 So good to catch up, laugh together, and have a whole weekend of making memories.
And then there was the rugby. The songs, the energy, the green and gold, the familiar feeling of being surrounded by South Africa. For one long, wonderful moment, I felt like I was back “home” in Cape Town. Came home with a very full heart. Lekker doesn’t quite cover it. 🇿🇦 💚 💛

Monday isn’t about having the perfect plan. It’s about having the right perspective.

Control what you can.
Pivot when things don’t go your way.
Prioritise what matters.
And make time for yourself.

Because sometimes those 45 minutes you invest in yourself are what give you the strength to give more to everyone else.

Men, what does your 45 minutes look like?

Some moments are more than memories — they become milestones in the story of who we are becoming

With a grateful heart and immense humility, I’m incredibly proud to announce that I have made it into the TOP 16 of Mister South Africa 2026! 🇿🇦✨

This moment means more to me than words can truly express. It represents the countless hours of preparation, the moments of doubt, the lessons learned, the people who believed in me, and the dream that continues to push me forward.

To my family, friends, supporters, and everyone who has stood behind me — THANK YOU. ❤️ Your messages, encouragement, belief and unwavering support fuel me and drive me to keep becoming the best version of myself. This journey would not be the same without you.

A heartfelt thank you to the Mister South Africa organisation for this incredible, life-changing opportunity. I’m deeply grateful for the platform, the experience and the opportunity to grow, inspire and represent something bigger than myself.

And to my fellow Top 16 finalists, congratulations! 🇿🇦 What an incredible achievement. I’m honoured to share this journey with such inspiring individuals, and I can’t wait to see what we accomplish together.

The journey is only just beginning. Top 16 today. The dream continues tomorrow. 👑

I’m ready to embrace every challenge, every lesson and every opportunity that comes next, with purpose, gratitude and heart.
