🎃SOMETHING IS COMING🎃

A year and a half ago, we started creating the fifth film in our EC inspired series of shorts.

On October 30th I will be sharing our latest “OLD TIME RADIO” short film, “A GRIMM HALLOWS’ EVE”.
This is the most ambitious episode yet and is a love letter to my (and I hope yours as well) childhood memories of Halloween.
Featuring Narration by Paul Giamatti and cameos by Rick Baker, John Landis and Scott Ian.

In the meantime, head over to https://specterofchristmas.com and check out the full BTS on the making of the short by my good friend @matthew_d_kollar
Please give it a watch and please have a…
Happy Harlow-een!

This is such an impressive undertaking to showcase so many of the best in the business. Bravo to Occupy Cinema for putting together this comprehensive list - of course as with any list we could keep adding and adding... but wonderful to see so many of my industry friends included for their stellar work!

Ve Neill, Debbie Zoller, Eryn Krueger Mekash, Mike Mekash, Heba Thorisdottir, Donald Mowat, Michael Westmore, Sherri Berman Laurence, Matthew Mungle, Lois Burwell, James Mackinnon, Amy L Forsythe, Vincent Van Dyke, Neill Gorton, Joel Harlow, Lesley Vanderwalt, Bill Corso, Ken Diaz, Nicki Ledermann, Naomi Donne, Göran Lundström, Ivana Primorac and anyone I missed seeing on the list!

Spent a great day at @fotokem_lodge yesterday with my friends @rodmaxwell and @jrkraus putting the finishing touches on #oldtimeradio #agrimmhallows’eve
it looks great and I can’t wait to share it with you all on 10/30 on https://specterofchristmas.com/ after our premiere next weekend.
It’s chalk full of Halloween nostalgia and features some fantastic performances by my friends @therickbaker @scottianthrax #johnlandis @rodmaxwell @ashleyedner @martimatulis @noahriversfx
Produced by myself, @jrmackinnon and @bohemianindustries
Music by @gerritwunder
VFX by @mchaelyu
It features a lot of old school practical effects and no AI. #Halloween

After Covid messed up our plans, we decided to have the legal marriage at our home in LA with American friends, and our wedding ceremony with Canadian friends and family when the world opened up.

The “in sickness and health” part of our vows has really been a challenge for most of our marriage, but through all the difficulties we have built a connection and love that I never knew existed. My only regret is that I didn’t meet @jrmackinnon earlier so we could have more time together.

Today we celebrate that ceremony with friends and family at the @fairmontbanff and we look forward to celebrating with everyone near and far for our 10 year vow renewal in 2030 💕

@scottianthrax and @charbenante of Anthrax alongside @morphology.fx and @jrmackinnon sat down with Shelby to talk about the band's latest video "The Edge of Perfection"! The video is full of monsters, great music, and even has a cameo by the great Rick Baker!
