Blessed is an understatement! @culturecon 2026! ✨ To be part of something as impactful as CultureCon is truly special. It’s more than just an event. It’s a space that celebrates our culture, amplifies our voices, creates opportunities, and reminds us of the power of community. Being surrounded by so many talented Black and Brown creatives, entrepreneurs, and visionaries who are unapologetically showing up as themselves is inspiring in ways I can’t even put into words. When I launched @grise.nyc in 2023, being part of CultureCon was one of my goals. In 2025, I was honored to be selected as part of the Creative Class, and now in 2026, I had the opportunity to bring my brand to life at the Small Business Market in partnership with @chase. A true full-circle moment! What makes this experience even more meaningful is knowing how much representation and access matter. As a small business owner, being given a platform to share my story, connect with my community, and introduce my brand to people who see themselves in what I’m building means everything. CultureCon continues to create space for us to be seen, heard, celebrated, and most importantly, given opportunities to grow. Hard work, consistency, authenticity, and a whole lot of love and support got me here. My vision may have started this journey, but it’s the continued support from my family, friends, peers, and community that keeps me going. To everyone who has believed in me, supported my vision, purchased a piece, shared a post, or simply spoken my brand’s name in a room I wasn’t in, THANK YOU. None of it goes unnoticed. And thank you to @culturecon @imaniimani and @chase for continuing to invest in our communities and creating opportunities for small businesses like mine to take up space. This moment is bigger than me. It’s a reminder of why I started, how far I’ve come, and how much further there is to go.
