THANK YOU for making the opening of my show so fantastic! ❤️ I truly enjoyed sharing my work with family, friends, collectors, coworkers, and members of the arts community. I also appreciated the messages from those who couldn't make it in person. When the good folks at Manna Gallery approached me last year with the possibility of a solo show, it was a real pinch me moment! I've loved visiting the galleries on Oakland's 25th Street for many years, so to find myself there now - filling a gallery with my work- affirms that dreams can come true. ❤️✨🙏.

Thank you to Vickie Resso and the folks at the Pinole Artisans art group for hosting me. I was honored to be invited to speak about my artistic journey, creative practice, and why I love plein air painting. I included a small portion of instruction with some general compositional tips and thought on framing a scene. It was a fun and engaging group of passionate local artist. I was invited as part of their mission to form a network for mutual learning and support and provide art education, open to all levels of ability. As part of this goal, they host guest speakers at their meetings.

I am humbled by all the positive feedback and praise I received from the group after my presentation! I love sharing what I am passionate about, but the engagement and welcoming nature of this group made it a fun and positive experience.

From their website: Founded in 2004, the Pinole Artisans is an east bay art group, that began as a small group of dedicated artists, eventually growing to its current roster of over 60 members. The Artisans held their first public art show in July of 2004 and have been adding more members, shows and venues since. Check out: pinoleartisans.org
