Sophomore year was a wonderful mixed bag! Beach retreat (slides 3-5), Halloween (7), a missions trip to Puebla Mexico (8-11), and woods retreat (14). Crazy that I’m now halfway done with my Auburn journey. I’m gonna be a junior y’all 🙃

Senior spotlight #4! C/MAJ Jackson Hall, Staff and Command Officer and the 2024-2025 PT Team Commander!

Jackson plans to attend Auburn University, where he will study physics and enroll in their AFROTC program. Eventually, he will apply to the air force pilot program, where he will spend the majority of his career.

The biggest lesson JROTC taught him was that leadership isn’t just about barking orders—apparently, people don’t love that. Being kind and understanding goes a long way when trying to serve others as a leader.

His biggest advice for incoming cadets is “Do it today. Life’s not gonna sit and wait for you to catch up. Jump in now, make your own opportunities, make mistakes, learn everything, and don’t wait around for permission to chase your ambitions.”

His favorite memory from JROTC was The daily chaos. Whether it was running the milk mile with his team, testing 1SG Audaine’s patience, or goofing around with other officers, it was all part of the experience.
