Four years of sports at Evangel is finally over. I’ve learned a lot over this time. Coming into college I thought I knew exactly how this time would go, man was I wrong. I put my identity in how many tackles I could make or what score I could shoot. This led to a constant search for success to find my identity. An injury later I was left in a place where I was lost and empty. It took a while but, I finally realized that no matter any score, place or number my identity isn’t found in that. Football and golf is something that I have done not who I am. Evangel athletics helped me realize that my value is found in Christ and I’m not fighting for victory, instead I’m fighting from victory because the battle is already won. Thank you @evangelvalor and thanks to everyone who’s helped me along the way.✌🏼
