POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

This book sounds like a delight. Saw the teasers from @jsjsprwrts months ago and this stayed in a corner of my mind until, with great joy, I stumbled across a story mentioning the ARC reader sign ups were open in the link in her bio. Thought everyone should know about it too ! Also, take a look at the author’s account, you might encounter beautiful art 👀

This post is never easy, but here are my ten before the end (of the year, not my life dw. only the good die young) 🤍

Chibs decided to lay with me while I was reading, it wasn’t distracting at all…

We were reading Ruffed Feathers by @kayleydaauthor and Chibs said you should read it because it’s really good (and there’s a cat) 💚

What are your ten?

world mental health day is october 10th. 🧠💛🌈

this day is so important to me for many reasons. For starters my full time job is being a liscenced mental health counselor for youths ages 3-21. (early intervention people!! lol)

outside of my career connection i also personally live my life alongside my anxiety and major depressive disorder, this season of my life is heavily impact by my depression currently and seeing my thoughts and concerns broadcasted in a book where the character not only overcomes their episode (because it always comes back shoutout movements for their song Full Circle) but also finds the love of their life is always going to be special to me.

Most recently Anything But Lonely by @authorkatymichele touched me in so many ways for how Katy depicted Emerson's depression and I am so thankful for that story, i genuinely think about it daily. (bonus points for how Katy depicts therapy in her books!!!)

The last two slide are so important to me as well, I love seeing a character in therapy!!

see any of your favs here?
have any recs in this domain? leave them in the comments!!
