Jay’s heading back to Northwestern after a summer of WORK.

A big focus was cleaning up Phase 1, specifically how the barrel turns and initiates into the zone, while tightening up his early path.

The video tells the rest. 🔥

Good luck this year, Jay. Go do your thing.

Every year, I know this day is coming.

And every year, it gets more difficult.

All these players came in to get better at hitting, but became much more than better hitters to me. I am beyond blessed to get watch them work, struggle, grow, and become the better versions of themselves today. After countless swings, long nights, laughs, tears, life conversations, and everything in between...they’re finally heading off to their next chapters.

I love these kids like they’re my own, but this is what all those hours behind the scenes were for.

Go chase it. You earned this opportunity. Compete hard, be great teammates, handle the tough days, enjoy the good ones, and remember that everyone back home is rooting for you.

The cage will feel empty without you, but I couldn’t be more proud. Thank you to these parents who trusted MJB with their development.

Go make some noise. ❤️⚾

And remember, you can always come back home to hit.

There’s no crying in baseball.🥲
