After the final whistle blew, it was finally time to share a bevvy with our friends, family and partners for supporting our club. Huge shoutout to everyone who made the long trek down to support their favorite Cats. After a blistering 90 degree day, those suds hit the spot. Great to swap Aussie Rules stories with the @nashvillekangaroos for the after social too. Three cheers and good onya mates!

Columbus played hard and fought valiantly over two games against a strong Aussie-led team in the @newyorkmagpies and the home team @nashvillekangaroos with a deeper bench. It was a great day for footy despite the ~90 degree temps.

The Cats showed great grit and determination sticking closely with both sides in each of the first halves. Despite missing three @usaflfreedomandrevos players, their mix of savvy vets and energetic first-year players left Columbus encouraged and wanting more. It was a good tune-up 6 weeks out from the @usafl1997 Nationals.

Overall, lots to be proud of and to build on. GO THE CATS!!#

Columbus travelled well to the Windy City where @chicagofooty hosted their annual Hendrie Cup. The Cats were strong out of the gate notching wins in their first two games. Against a very strong home team, the Swans finished the tournament on top. Lots to be proud of, to learn from and to build off as we ramp up to Nationals.

Columbus had a blast for the social and another successful road trip for the 2026 season. Good onya mates!
