a few days ago i completed all 135+ backgrounds for Xin After Tomorrow! : ) 160+ including one animated background scene… 🌀_🌀

it was a big experiment to try doing traditionally painted backgrounds for a hefty film, but i have realized that is the most i’ve ever enjoyed doing backgrounds ever (a process i used to dread). i would love to do traditional backgrounds for a film again, maybe next year heheh

thank you friends who helped me paint and also let me paint in your apartment while watching movies, as well as the all cafes and libraries who had no idea what i was doing! for the next month or so i will be in the cave doing clean up… but i’m looking forward to binging tons of concert videos while i work again!!! yay! more updates to comee

Join the shoe-sniffing cat Stinky, as he envisions his heroic owner saving the day... but are his daydreams just a wild figment of imagination, or is there some truth behind his magical tale?

< OTAKUBO> is premiering exclusively on BILIBILI!Link in bio 🫨🫨

We tried to cram a whole season‘s worth of story into just one minute-hope it felt like a wild ride!

There are a bunch of hidden Easter eggs scattered throughout, so feel free to rewatch and see what you can find ><

It’s a story about the favorite underground idol of three otakus—Akiba-chan—has been kidnapped!
And somehow... they‘re the main suspects?!

So.. we got evacuated from CalArts. It's actually due to a flood in the dormitory more so than the fires.. it's a whole situation. We're still pressing on with the stream, but I'm in a new place with a new cast of people. We also changed our highest milestone 👀
