I wanted to bring my camera on a ride for ages, but didn’t have the confidence on my handling skills or was scared of dripping it with sweat and damage it.
But today was cold, clear skies and I had the beautiful @jsparkeswork as a model to practice with.

In the midst of this current bleak and scary climate with A.I. (this is a longer conversation for another time when I have more energy) and work disappearing more and more for a lot of us.. I’ve found a new love for drawing by combining it with photography. Every time I feel a lack of inspiration I decide to draw on a photo. Seeing my loved ones faces on my Cintiq whilst drawing something silly and colourful surrounding them, brings so much joy to me.

Here are a few photos from a summer roadtrip up in North of Sweden with my family and the old Volvo (the Volvo being part of the family of course)

En mysig roadtrip I Västernorrland/Sundsvall med gamla Volvon, massa loppisar, fika, bad och berg! 🌲

Our team had a great opportunity to participate in “On the Lookout” project, it’s a room where you can explore different worlds, by various artists. Villa is a home for contemporary art, but it’s located in a historical building that now gained new life, so in my illustrations I wanted to reflect monumental base combined with new and existing world that are now being built ✨

Thank you for this great opportunity @ward_graumans and thank you @otilija.mo and @jsparkeswork for the incredible animations 🫶
