The Invitations 💌

Mom and I spent hours with @sincerelyoursdiane looking through hundreds of invitations and nothing quite felt right. We were trying to make something work that just didn’t. So after a few months of indecision, @lauren.n.hoffman suggested I go to the stationary company she used in the city to see if I liked anything there. At the last minute, I found an invitation I liked, but I wanted it to look nothing like how it was presented (scroll for the sample). So I stayed up doing a quick redesign of how I wanted it, and over the next few weeks Mom and Diane met in person in Florida as I FaceTimed them from NY so we could come up with a spectacular invitation suite together!

Because we custom-designed them, we didn’t get to see the invitations before they were printed, so we were shocked by their size by the time they arrived 😅 We quickly shipped them out, but they were so large that most people never got them (or they ended up in their package room or arrived after the wedding!) 🤣🤦🏼‍♀️ so we ended up having to text most of our guest list anyways to make sure they knew they were invited! Best laid plans…

A sea of candlelight, delicate blooms, and the prettiest shades of pink beautifully captured by @jspstudios ✨

We’re loving the continued shift toward designs that feel soft, romantic, and effortless. Proof that sometimes the most beautiful designs feel a little like a dream. 🌸🕯️

Some moments take weeks of planning... only to unfold in a matter of seconds.

On May 31, 2026, we had the incredible honor of capturing Micaela and Armando’s surprise marriage proposal from start to finish. Every detail was meticulously planned in advance to ensure this once-in-a-lifetime moment would be experienced and remembered forever.

Our team deployed a 5-camera video production setup—including several discreetly placed hidden cameras—to document every angle of the proposal while simultaneously providing a live video feed to family members gathered below the rooftop terrace. To guarantee absolute reliability, we ran over 125 feet of cable down the side of the building—because sometimes wireless simply isn’t an option when there’s only one chance to capture a moment this important.

After weeks of planning, coordination, testing, and hours of preparation on the day of the proposal, everything came together perfectly. In just a few unforgettable seconds, Armando asked the question, Micaela said YES, and their families were able to witness the entire moment live as it happened.

These are the memories we love creating.
Capturing authentic emotion often means being invisible when it matters most. The hidden camera placements allowed us to preserve genuine reactions, real emotions, and the raw excitement of the moment without disrupting the experience for Micaela.

Congratulations, Micaela & Armando! Thank you for trusting us with such an important chapter of your story. We can’t wait to celebrate with you again on your wedding day!

A special thank you to their wonderful family for helping bring this surprise to life, and to Jonathan Scott for the beautiful photography coverage of the event.

If you’re looking for a reliable, professional, creative, and experienced photo and video team to capture your wedding proposal, engagement, wedding day, corporate event, private celebration, or special occasion, we’d love to help tell your story.

Some moments deserve more than a single camera angle.

This unforgettable rooftop marriage proposal was one of those moments.

With 5 cameras strategically positioned, cinematic panning movements, and a live stream broadcasting every second to family waiting below, we captured not just the proposal—but every reaction, every tear, and every heartbeat of anticipation.

As he dropped to one knee against the stunning city skyline, loved ones watched in real-time, sharing in a moment that will be remembered forever. The surprise, the emotion, the joy—it all unfolded seamlessly, creating a truly cinematic proposal experience.

These are the stories we love telling. The ones filled with authentic emotion, intentional planning, and once-in-a-lifetime memories.

Congratulations to this incredible couple on the beginning of their next chapter together. ❤️

Dream team for @thelxainc @vinnyhoganii @bluetent.media @jspstudios we did it!!!
