What an experience.

It’s incredible what can happen when you step outside of your comfort zone and say yes to things that intimidate you. This race goes WAY deeper than being able to say I swam 1.2 miles, biked 56, and ran 13.1 consecutively. While this may look like a physical challenge, I can assure you, the mental side of it completely outweighs that.

Endless hours of training. Early mornings, late nights, constantly fighting the voice in my head who is telling me to stop when it gets hard. Why am I even doing this? What’s the point? Am I cut out for this? But the moment I crossed that finish line, it all made sense.

A feeling like I’ve never felt before. Truly a euphoric moment. 7 grueling months of preparation, all wrapped up into 6 hours. And if I could go back, I wouldn’t change a thing about it.

Huge thanks to Cody and Joel for convincing me to do this in the first place, and constantly motivating me to keep moving. The saying “You are the sum of the people you surround yourself with” couldn’t be more true.

Now the question is, what’s next?!

I prayed for patience and it was answered in a way I never expected… long distance. 15 hours and 1,014 miles apart. For now, most of our memories are made over late night facetime calls. Every minute is worth it to get to love my best friend🤍

I had a training session with one of the best trainers in the Pitt area @jtarzoho and with my bro who’s a Fitness model @gabriel_crawford . We had some fun yesterday with trying out a narrow stance deadlift or Anti-Sumo lol. We didn’t go too heavy but we worked on our explosiveness and I got a little bonus weight round at the end. I hope you enjoy the collab there will be more to come. Let’s go!
