Deny Yourself

Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. 25 For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.
-Matthew 16:24-25

The Next Steps of FOC Ministry

We will focus more on Outreach and getting into the community while spreading the gospel. We won’t force anything on anyone, God will send the ones who really want to receive the gospel to us. It could be a person who has been praying for a sign from God earlier that day, week, or year and then you walk up to them and preach the gospel and God uses you as the sign they were looking for to bring them to Christ.

And Jesus went throughout all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every affliction. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.”
- Matthew 9-35-38
