Thank you Florence + The Machine for a beautiful concert (and thank you for playing your lesser favorite songs, because they are, in fact, my favorites:)! ✨🦇🌔✨

ATLANTA • May 1st

A very special coven meeting for Beltane ❤️ We had such an amazing time in Atlanta, everyone looked INCREDIBLE — thank you for coming through in submitting your photos when we ended up getting stuck in a parking garage! ✨

Sadly we have reached our DM cap for this post

this one hurts

9 years later, marching band comes to a close. 20 pictures do not even scratch the surface of what this has given me. a community, a second home, and a place for myself to grow. i have been changed for good 🫶

thank you marching blazers for these past 4 seasons. if i wasn’t in marching blazers i would probably have no friends and probably not even still be in school. i have also really enjoyed being on leadership these last 2 years.

thank you to the uab saxes for being the best section on the field #pfp

to all the leadership who were above me (at leeds and uab), thank you for nurturing me through my formative years. you helped shaped me into the person i am today.

to all the directors, thank you for giving little ole me a chance to be a leader and help your organization 🫶

here are some stats:
seasons as a marcher: 9 🏟️
shows marched: 11 🎷
games played: 75ish 🏈
parades marched: 15ish 🥁
leadership roles: 4🫡
hours spent on buses: too many 🚌
water breaks: not enough💧
earliest call time: 2am 🕑
memories made: ♾️

They say it’s not about how you start but how you finish… Not about the destination but the journey… Not about how you fall, but how you get back up… Not about the role you play, but the heart you bring to it…

Thank you UAB, for everything💛🐉
