I’m so grateful for music and the friends made along the way, it has brought so much light and love into my life. I have always been very introspective and music has helped me look inward and find peace and gratitude during dark moments. We live in such a divided world and music brings humans of all different beliefs to come together.

As my time with SLB nears the end, I wanted to express how thankful I am for the legacy left on me by so many wonderful people--especially my students.

Legacy Night and Graduation were such important events for our team, because both ceremonies focused on our students. These wonderful celebrations galvanized our program: smiles, hugs, tears, laughter....Together.

And best of all? Their families got a glimpse of their success at ASU and what made them so special to us. These supporters got a glimpse of how their loved one made our team better. They got a glimpse of what was my privilege to see every single day.

To all of my students, cheers to your success. Congratulations on your exceptional accomplishments and always take care of each other. I'm forever your biggest supporter, I love you, and I will always be here for you. #LeaveALegacy
