Surely at some point I thought about how I would be in the middle of a drive across the country back to Seattle..

Princeton was a bigger journey than any caption could ever accommodate. Thank you to the many people that have been a part of this chapter with me; I will treasure our time shared in New Jersey and carry with me countless lessons as Ronnie and I turn a new page.

Many bikes were had, towpaths ridden, laughs shared, and memories made. Here’s to many more!

**Language is important so I want to be clear that this actions is in solidarity with the Latino Community and the Immigrant Community in Trenton and all across the country.**

This Saturday join us for a bicycle ride for unity, peace and justice. Organized by Angry Catfish Bike Shop in Minneapolis where Alex was a community member as a nationwide ride, Trenton will roll at 2:00pm EST (1:00 Central Time) from Casa Cultura at 750 Cass Street. We also want to honor the lives of Renee Nicole Good, Keith Porter and the many, many individuals who have died in ICE custody.

To provide more context for the ride we would like to add that this action is in solidarity with all people affected by ICE's campaign of terror and death directed at black and brown bodies on the streets of our cities.
Like our Unity Ride and Safe Streets rides we gather and open the floor for people to speak their piece and share their experiences.
We do not center the experience of white folks but recognize that this humans death is a catalyst for all to join in an activity he loved and we feel can bring in new people.
~
From @angrycatfish
Alex was one of us, could’ve been any of us, so as we mourn, all of us can come together in unity to remember Alex for what he was. A kind and caring soul put on this earth to be the light for others. Although his light has been extinguished by this fascist regime, it hasn’t been lost. If anything, those sparks fell and ignited something in us that’s been hiding all along. We are stronger together, and they can’t take us all. We’ve gathered together a community of cyclists to remember Alex Pretti. Please join in, near or far this Saturday, 1/31 1:00 PM Central Time
-
We’re asking folks to host rides and come together. Bike shops and non-profits, cycling orgs and alt cycling collectives, city and rural. We are many but we stand together as one.
~
Please dress warmly, bring helmet, lights and a face covering. Please do not travel if it endangers your safety. We are fixing bikes on Wednesday 1/28 6-9pm at the COG if you need a safety check or repairs before the ride. The length of the ride will depend on weather and road conditions but plan for 5-10 miles.
