BLACK MAGIC art collection -Beyond What Meets the Eye. 🎨
A few months ago, I released a body of work on my website titled BLACK MAGIC. But I’ve always felt that the deeper stories, symbolism, and meanings behind these works haven’t been fully understood.
These paintings are more than beautiful images. Each piece carries a story, a thought, a feeling, and layers of meaning drawn from identity, spirituality, culture, human experience, and the things we often leave unspoken.
So, stop. Watch. Listen. Comment.
Take a moment to hear me tell the stories behind these works and understand the world that exists beneath the surface.
If a particular piece speaks to you, send me a DM.

Not everything hidden is lost. 🖤

“Understanding not just the work, but the person behind it.”

In Neue Zürcher Zeitung’s 2026 Art Basel Focus Supplement, I spoke with NZZ Art about my collection - its roots in urban art, its development into a broader dialogue with contemporary practices, and the encounters, processes and visual languages that continue to shape the way I collect.

My sincere thanks to @nzz, @nzz__art and @independent_collectors for the thoughtful interview and editorial presentation, and to @christophe_francois_fotografie for the photographs taken at our home in Düsseldorf.

Above all, my thanks to my wife, Julia Brenner Jovic (@ju_burn), for sharing the life, conversations and encounters around the collection.

The full interview appears on page 23 of the English and German editions, linked in bio.
