✨💛 ADPi Service Week | Stock the Pantry & More!

Sisterhood in action, making a difference one act of kindness at a time! 💖🦁

Our Jacksonville ADPi alumnae came together to collect food items for the pantry, along with much-needed supplies for Ronald McDonald House Jacksonville, including art supplies and other items to bring comfort and joy to families staying at the House. 🏡❤️ We had an awesome turnout to deliver everything in person on Wednesday, October 7!

With additional help from our sisters at @unfadpi and @juadpi, we also delivered our collected pop tabs as part of ADPi’s “Sisterhood Is Poppin’” celebration in honor of our 175th anniversary! 💎🎉

A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who donated and helped make these projects possible. We are so grateful for a sisterhood that continues to show up, give back, and serve with love! ❤️💛

As a young student, I discovered my love for writing and film. I have always enjoyed the aspect of story and script writing, creating video and photography. When the time came to become involved at JU, the Dolphin Channel immediately felt like a great fit for me. Having the opportunity to create expressive content about JU’s student life, athletics, and about the city of Jacksonville has been a fulfilling experience.

As a member of the Class of 2027, I am a Sports in Society major, a member of the Greek Life’s Alpha Delta Pi, an athlete on the Women’s Rowing Team and serve as the Chief of Communications for SGA. I have thoroughly enjoyed combining my passion for both sports and media here with the Dolphin Channel.

My eyes have been open to new opportunities within the media, as U have gained hands on experience with content creation, here at JU. I love learning new skills and working with a team of dedicated students.

Reporting for the JU Dolphin Media, I’m Avery Jackson.

20 years of friendship. 🥹🤍

@audrey_opalcharleston and I met @jacksonvilleu on @juadpi Bid Day, and somehow, from that day on, we’ve been part of every big life moment together.

College. Weddings. Babies. And now… building a business. 🥂

Building @opal_charleston together has been one of our proudest accomplishments, and as we celebrate 3 years of Opal, I think about just how much has happened behind the scenes.

The highs have been HIGH. The lows have been humbling. There have been big wins, hard days, late nights, tough decisions, moments of doubt, and SO many moments where we’ve looked at each other and thought, “Wait… we actually built this.”

Women in small business know it’s not always the pretty Instagram moments. It’s wearing a million hats, figuring it out as you go, celebrating the wins, learning from the failures, and continuing to show up even when it’s hard.

And I’m incredibly grateful I get to do it with my best friend. 🤍

Three years of Opal. Twenty years of us.
And I wouldn’t want to build it with anyone else.

Here’s to everything we’ve built and everything still to come. 🥂✨
