my senior show has been something i have been day dreaming about ever since i was a freshmen running through the tiresome doors, stepping into the warm and bright atrium. those doors have welcomed me through each day, awful or magical, and have introduced me to the happiest of moments i have yet to experience in my life. it feels surreal that i was able to turn this space into my own and fill the room with the work that i have poured my entire existence into. now that my show is over it has me feeling extra nostalgic for my first semester’s at ku, and i can’t help but to feel so grateful for each person who has helped me get to this point. in this short time, my cohort has taught me so much about what it means to be a growing person , and how to learn through each other.

thank you to my community in sharadin for helping me get to this point, each late night conversation, snack run, lawn break, and walk that inevitably turns into a smoke break (damn we lowkey took a lot of breaks now that i think of it lol) has inspired me to continue to be curious and has pushed me to think in ways i would have never imagined three years ago.
