AUDIOVISUAL ASSEMBLY explores the collision of sound and image through live performance. Curated by We Are Not Content and Live Cinema Foundation, each edition brings together experimental musicians, visual artists, and live cinema practitioners working at the edges of audiovisual expression.

This summer edition features:

DJ Cheeba’s pioneering fusion of turntablism and real-time video sampling; Parallel Action’s (Jude Greenaway) cinematic trip-hop—slow-rolling breakbeats, jazz samples, and film noir atmospherics paired with original visuals; and the collaboration between I Feel Like a Bombed Cathedral (Amaury Cambuzat of Ulan Bator/faUSt) and filmmaker Daisy Dickinson, constructing dense layers of drone, guitar, and noise with immersive visuals—a raw, hypnotic exchange where sound dissolves into light.

Dear friends, family, followers, supporters, music lovers and everyone else

In case you missed it last month — we released a very special record on our label that deserves your full attention.

We were proud to welcome a truly exceptional and still far too underrated artist into our catalogue for this premiere. Jude Greenaway — also known as ScanOne and Parallel Action — delivers a body of work that moves effortlessly between microscopic detail and a powerful overarching vision. His sonic language mirrors the philosophy and aesthetic foundation of our label, making this release a natural and uncompromising extension of what we stand for.

This album is not simply a collection of tracks. It is a carefully constructed statement — intentional, timeless, and deeply rooted in authenticity.

If you value independent music culture, we invite you to share this record with friends and peers. Should you wish to experience the full depth and physical presence of the work, we encourage you to order a copy and directly support our independent, self-managed label structure. A digital edition is available, and our previous releases remain in stock, including selected promotional bundles.

Your support sustains this vision and allows us to continue operating outside conventional structures.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us directly.

It has been a twinkling 6 weeks of light installations thanks to @light.up.ramsgate and the final days are now here 😢 Don’t miss the last day of @carsonparkinfairley’s ‘Under The Same Stars’ at St George’s Church, and ‘Event Horizon’ by Balint Bolygo & Jude Greenaway at the Sailor’s Church. Both give their final performance this evening. Other installations leave venues over the next few days / weeks.

A huge congratulations to Jess and team, plus all the volunteers who have given up their time @light.up.ramsgate ✨

Event Horizon
The Sailors’ Church, Ramsgate Harbour
Presented by Vattenfall

Event Horizon is an immersive Audio Visual installation by collaborators Balint Bolygo (light engineer) & Jude Greenaway (sound designer), that explores our relationship with the sea. Using a slowly undulating laser “horizon line” and a carefully composed ambient soundscape, the work creates a heightened sensory experience that invites visitors to pause, look outward, and reflect on the forces that shape coastal life.

The installation is created specifically for the Sailors’ Church, a building deeply connected to Ramsgate’s maritime history. Situated in the harbour and long associated with those who worked, travelled, and sought refuge at sea from sailors and fishermen to wartime casualties, the church brings its own layers of memory, care and survival into the experience.

About The Artists
@balintbolygo is an internationally renowned installation artist whose kinetic and light-based works explore the interplay between natural forces, perception, and time. @judegreenaway is a multi-disciplinary artist and sound designer known for immersive audiovisual installations and electronic composition. Together, their collaboration emerged from Supernova, last and brings together local connection with world-class practice.

Presented by @vattenfall , whose offshore wind farms form part of the region’s evolving seascape, Event Horizon resonates with Ramsgate’s ongoing relationship to the sea and to sustainable futures.

Commissioned for Light Up Ramsgate as part of Ramsgate Winter Festival, Event Horizon follows the success of 2024’s Supernova and continues the programme’s commitment to placing ambitious contemporary art within meaningful heritage sites

"Issued on C7NEMA 100 / Furthur Electronix, KEPLER186 in April 2025, Jude Greenaway’s three-track EP channels downtempo, dark, space-drifting progressive music into a tightly controlled, cinematic drum’n dub experience." ~@pietrobot

Review by: @seamonkeymusic

"Rooted in a lifetime of dub devotion sparked by childhood sessions of LKJ in Dub, Jude Greenaway’s Parallel Action project channels deep bass pressure and meditative space into Parallel Action In Dub – The Energy Center, a cinematic, system-ready album that reframes dub as modern sonic restoration."

A1 - PARALLEL ACTION - BASK DUB

Track Number One of our forthcoming vinyl release -
The first LP in our catalogue - PHASE ONE ended with the official release of the amazing deep emotional and dance floor approved MAKATI EP by legendary EWAN JANSEN ( @redemberrecords ) and built the basics for PHASE TWO - with more personal family releases and conceptual projects.

All of the five next releases are telling a personal story - it’s the possibility we want to give to the artists - TOTAL ARTISTIC FREEDOM!!

After we introduced you to the wide and deep spectrum of ouR NO GENRE NO COMPETITION philosophy through PHASE ONE as good as possible - we want to go a little more personal and going to introduce you to the @worldwidewebrecords / @humanrecordings_gvc family which includes artists from all over the world, all ages, genders and backgrounds.

on the other hand, you will be informed about the first musical outcome of our mother/ sister label human recordings ( good vibes collective ) but first of all another short video to make you hungry for more and maybe even as hungry as you need to be to pre-order your copy now.

And the sentences: “ I don’t have a a possibility to listen to vinyl” or “ that’s not my kind of music ( even worse I don’t even listen to music )” aren’t counting because you can just pre-order a copy as a present to someone who loves vinyl and especially the ones you put on and listen to the whole album. Anyway, stay tuned for the next small teaser and if you haven’t already, I would really propose you to pre-order a copy.

Thanks to all the people involved, especially to @judegreenaway / (@parallel_action, @scanone23 ) who is the founder of the amazing label @yellow.machines and wrote, produced and arranged and designed the whole art work and cover behind as well. Then the other special things are going out to our be loft genius behind the mastering. @thee_j_johanz . And for sure thanks a lot to everyone who supported our journey till now especially the ones from our inner circle. (If you know, you know.)
