I’m doing a sort of collaboration with my son. I did the lower drawing of the hooded crow and my son did the cartoon-like “clumsy craw” in the middle bit. You: “Aw that’s so cute...what age is your son?” Me: “Thirty four” 😂 (OK, so he drew it and wrote the poem when he was about six). Please join us at our new café opening Friday 5/16. We’ve spent the past few years developing close relationships with some of the most respected coffee producers in Panamá. Their work inspired our founder to begin growing coffee on family land. At Arcane, we’ll be serving rare coffees from Panamanian lots, including our own harvests. This space was an abstract concept a year ago. We are sincerely grateful for how it has all come together, and for everyone who has put in endless effort into making it a reality. We hope that our café devoted entirely to the coffees of a single region, served to you directly by one of the producers, will be a chance to fully experience the heritage of Panamanian coffee and understand what makes this place remarkable.
