A Rieti! Dal 6 all’8 novembre

I’ve just finished watching JUGGERNAUT for the sixth time.

Yes. Sixth.

And I still want to know what’s waiting beyond the edges of the frame.

Twenty minutes of dark fantasy, stunning Italian locations, war-worn armour and a story of love and grief that stayed with me long after the credits rolled.

@eugenio.krilov, @daniele.ricci.videomaker and @emanuele95ricci — congratulations on what you’ve created. And thank you for sending me a free link to watch it.

You gave me a glimpse into a world I desperately want to see more of.

If you love Dark Fantasy or Souls-like worlds, please give this one twenty minutes of your time. Then go show @juggernaut.project some love. Work like this deserves to find its audience.

Shout out: Amazing performances from @adriana.papana as The Lady and @nicolocerreti as the King (or Guardian of the Crypt as I called him)

My full review is up on ChaoticNeutralGamers.com. (link in Bio)

Fair warning: there are some spoilers, including discussion of the final act. Watch the film first. Then come back and tell me what you thought.

Watch on WeShort and read the review through the links in our bio.

Juggernaut is a short film created by a small team of independent Italian filmmakers (Eugenio Krilov, Daniele Ricci, and Emanuele Ricci) over four years in Tuscany, Italy.

The film begins with Ricker, a hardened knight emerging from a dense forest, visibly groaning as he carries the heavy sheet-wrapped body of his fallen love (his lady, played by Adriana Papana), with her sword placed across her chest.

Driven by absolute refusal to accept her death, Ricker is guided by a strange magical book. He uses its dark, forbidden instructions to navigate a treacherous, legendary landscape. His goal is to reach an ancient ritual site where he can bargain with the forces of the “beyond” to undo his loss.

The creators drew heavy inspiration from dark fantasy masterpieces like Dark Souls, Elden Ring, Bloodborne, and the manga Berserk.

⚔️🩸 Love can make us do impossible things... even challenge forces beyond our understanding.

JUGGERNAUT is a stunning medieval fantasy horror short that proves dialogue isn't always necessary. Through breathtaking landscapes, haunting imagery, and powerful performances, it tells a heartbreaking story of grief, sacrifice, and the terrifying cost of refusing to let go.

If you enjoy atmospheric horror, dark fantasy, and emotionally driven stories, this one is well worth 20 minutes. 🖤
