POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

A decade ago in May at Pedestrian Sunday in Kensington Market!

So nice to see some familiar faces still with the baque all these years later 💙🩵🤍

These photos are a lasting gift from our dear friend Michael Zender, gone but not forgotten! His impact archiving community cultural events in Toronto is his incredible legacy.

A huge shout out to the @cambridgepl_ca system for their excellent March Break children’s programming events!

We went to 3 different branches (Old Post Office, Queen’s Square, and Hespeler) and saw the fabulous @juggling.chef , participated in dinosaur-themed activity stations, chatted with local author, @alisonmcgauley (author of Kenzie’s Little Tree) and completed a ton of different activity and art stations. A big thank you to all the library staff who went above and beyond to make these March Break events such fun for everyone!

The Algonquin Water Song is a gift from Indigenous Anishinaabe/Cree Elder Irene Wawatie Jerome. People around the world are called to learn and sing this song of gratitude to our life source: water. 🌊

In this immersive workshop, participants will learn to sing the Water Song and embark on a journey of creative movement, travelling through imaginary realms and into the waters of the soul. Through communion with water in our own spaces and poetic reflection, we will discover messages, wisdom, and a deeper call to loveprotect, and share water.

✨Marla Brennan – Canadian expressive arts facilitator, arts educator, and performer whose work blends creativity, play, and song to foster healing, resilience, and community.
