POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

From now on, for the rest of the year, you’ll find me in the swimming pool, on a mountain, or in my studio (with no exhibition deadlines) - I’m done!

What a crazy first half of the year that was: A duo show in Hamburg, a group exhibition in Stuttgart that Yasmin Alt and I organised and curated, a group exhibition in Leipzig, a new contribution to an exhibition in Berlin, a performance in all weathers, and another group exhibition in Berlin. On top of that, I’ve been doing several “money jobs” to pay the rent (and the rest), and added even more volunteering work to my list. Thanks a mil for all collaborations, invites, opportunities and exchanges - and the support and love from my friends (you know who you are 🧡)!

Over the last months I've been working with @la.kneusette, dear friend and photographer Julia Kneuse, in collaboration with the @hanseatischematerialverwaltung and @clndr.girls on 12 images for a colorful and varied calendar for next year. About the location: the @hanseatischematerialverwaltung is a non-profit fund/archive that rescues discarded material, high-quality props and sets from large theaters and film sets and makes them available to creative projects without a large budget at a reasonable price. Be sure to follow @clndr.girls and order a copy of our calendar (Ed. 500, Din A3, 23€), you can also write me a message if interested for more info. Order here: https://www.calendar-girls.de/shop/

‚only a website‘
It’s official, my website is online again! You guys might know the story: since I decided my last website was outdated (and it was! Flash, this dinosaur, literally didn’t exist any more) I slowly started worrying about how the new one should look like, what exactly I wanted to show, how to explain my work properly, etc., etc. - which after a while grew into an even bigger mountain of doubts and ’the website’ became one of the reasons why I would wake up at nights. Also one of my external hard drives with data of 8 years got stolen last year, this didn’t make the process any easier;) With the expertise and an immense amount of patience of my dear friend @juhoools I managed to not only not freak out but to consider it (almost) finished now, so it’s out there in the world again and I am so relieved and happy! Thanks Julia! And thanks to everyone who still believed I was a photographer during all this offline time with work worth to print, read and exhibit;) Find the link in my bio and have a look, happy for feedback! #newwebsite #yeah #party #photography #anartistsnightmare

This Morning we woke up and remembered that exactly 3 years ago we were in Amsterdam for the first workshop/residency of the #escape program organized by @ci.cloplataforma @phototriennale and @unseenamsterdam

The twins were 7 months old, we traveled 1500 km by car and we had a wonderful experience, the first travel as a family, the first artistic residence as mothers.

During that week in Amsterdam alongside great artists and art curators, we planted the seeds of our great project and research on the Besòs River.

We hope to be able to travel soon, share great experiences and get know new places.
