BFF V10/7c+ ✅️

The BFF saga is finally complete for me, and what a journey it has been!

I remember first trying this climb back in October and thinking to myself that I could piece this climb together quickly and send it in a few sessions. Little did I know what kind of journey I had signed up for... What I thought was a few sessions turned into 15-20 sessions of punting that damn sharktooth move over and over again.

Yet, when looking back at all those December winter sessions in below 0 degree weather, I realized those were the times that made this climb and process truly special to me. Sitting by this climb in the cold, knowing that I should stop and wait until next season to come back to it, but still having endless psyche and determination to somehow pull it off alongside others. Meeting so many people that all were as crazy psyched to be out there and have a good time, that is what I will truly remember this climb for.

Thank you @nat.monkey and @juiceboxjohn_ for being just as crazy and psyched as me during all those countless sessions. If it weren't for the BFF trio, I don't think I'd possibly have such an amazing experience working this climb. I'm also so grateful for all the people I got to meet and get close with during this process, and everyone who supported throughout! The climbing community is truly the best! 🫶

Well I punted the punt 😂🤙🏼

Lol so the nonchalant attempt was almost my ticket to bag this beauty but left hand on slopper was like "Broda u are coming back 😂"

Honestly these days psych n motivation is way beyond Andromeda bcz each sesh now the attempts are getting cleaner n cleaner! 🥹 Like i even surprised myself with heat move to BFF😝

On that note tho mega astronomical shoutout to @juiceboxjohn_ @alvinpeng01 @dani3ljiang @hallzy86 for literally coming in all the way to punt with psych n pads n keeping me alive! The Phoenix V11/8a ✅️

Exactly 4 weeks ago from this send, I picked up my worst/scariest injury to date, tearing my meniscus and straining my hamstring while on a trip in Red Rocks. That alongside the finger injuries I already had led me to believe I would be out of commission for a while. Yet, I found myself standing on top of this boulder somehow on this day, feeling the strongest I ever have, and overwhelmed with so many emotions.

Ever since my first session with Nat on this line in subzero weather, I knew I wanted to send it. The line was so unique, with such a cool sequence of moves that tested a balance between strength, technique, and endurance. Four sessions later, and I managed to finally put it all together in what honestly still weren't ideal conditions. While working on this line, I also unlocked the moves for the extension, Karasu, the king line of the black cave. Safe to say, I will be back for Karasu and Threat Level Midnight next, so stay tuned! 👀

I of course also want to thank everyone that has constantly supported and pushed me past my limit throughout what felt like some of the mentally hardest times for me. I want to thank all the homies back at the gym, all of psychenation, and especially @nat.monkey for all fueling the psyche in me to get this done. I truly don't think I'd be where I am right now without everyone's support, and so I'm truly greatful 🥹

What a year it has been! Met so many new people; did so many new things. Super greatful to be in the position I am, surrounded by such awesome people and able to go on all these sick trips. It's time to say goodbye to 2025, and greet 2026 with an open mind. I have a feeling this next year will be filled with even more exciting things, but I guess only time will tell... 👀

The first move took a bit chunk to click but once I hit it, it went down first try!🔥🔥 Honestly the flow is so psyched on this one! BANGAAAAAA🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

On that note this was one of my last sends @toprockclimbing before my trip in Dec!😭 I had Medusa in the bag but I decided to leave it on, as a reason to push me to go back to my second home every month at least once, to go on a full body destruction with my fam there! 😌🤙🏼

Necromancer V9/7c ✅️

A long overdue send that I finally got around to ticking off. Finally decided to try this climb fresh during this session, and it went down on the third attempt. What used to be a fight between the pump and I on this climb turned into a fight between the cold and I during this session. Despite not feeling my fingers for most of the climb, the climb felt super dialed, and I'm really happy with my improvement on it over the season 😁

Shoutout to the crew that was there during this session! Had an absolute blast climbing with everyone and really appreciated the support and vibes that everyone brought all around: @juiceboxjohn_ @nat.monkey @alexander_.gama @williamjdimech (and can't tag Keanan)

Bonfire Rodeo V6 ✅ 🤯

Sent one of my nemesis boulders today! I gave up on this climb 5 years ago after 4 sessions of failing the tight heel hook and making zero progress. Found some mega beta inspo from @noah___walker’s BFF send and it totally unlocked the move for me. The new beta with the astronomical psyche from everyone there fuelled me up to the finish hold. I’m so happy to finally tick this one off, and I’m excited for what’s to come.

Wasn't expecting this beta to work, but hey now a new beta just dropped for this banger out of nowhere!😍🔥

Anyway, besides this banger the last 3 footies, I used to dream about holding the side edge of beast maker 2000 even for one sec for a while now! Somehow today I noticed I can hold this edge and even do one arm on 2 fingers! Like fam omg am I dreaming? Legit mega grateful 🥹💫🌌
