My people showed out for my birthday! We did it red carpet style. We did it banquet style. We did it award show style. Hollywood ain't got nothing on us! I'd be remiss if I didn't shout some people out. Namely @primo5k @queenpoet14 @preachingpretty @pariscook01 @misslissy93 for preparing the food from @lionsdencafe_soulfood_mn . @sweet.piece.specialties made one of the best cakes you'll ever taste! My neo EJ held it down at the door. @b_lashing_out came out of bartending retirement for me (and brought her friend Tatyana who also handled business). My Goddaughter Imanie and Emiah were so helpful with the food (though there's a few things we needed to teach these teens lol). My boy @sonewph smashed his first hosting role and kept the people engaged. Congratulations to all my Pottscar (forget the Oscar's!) award winners: @niyi_say_nee.yee @afosterstory @mzpink_n_purple @theelovelylaya @broadway_beats @sonewph @juicerighteous. Thank you to those that helped with transport and set-up: @kaviar1911 @gheelonnie @lionessharvey @nia_kyle, Emily, Mike Foster, Bird, and Jamie. Dameon Daniels came through big time when it came time to shut down. I'm grateful for my village 🙏🏾

Family trip 2026. Can never go wrong with a cruise! Orlando > Turks & Caicos > Dominican Republic > Puerto Rico. So relaxing. Besides the storm in the DR and storms that affected my way back home.

Witnessing these girls continue to make history at the inaugural @theislafoundation HBCU Classic. So much culture. Of course we showed up deep again and @diam.cook showed out. Happy Black History Month.

I’m so proud of my baby Alyssa. She learned to do a back flip. She had a performance at the MOA with her team and a performance at the U of M opening for the women’s gymnastics team!

Her auntie Diamond Cook was able to watch her perform .☺️

Gold metalest Suni Lee spotted her on floor.

25 years of RBFC gone by so quickly. It's incredible to see where it's grown, especially if you know the story from the early years. My parents deserve all the blessings that continue to come their way. Congratulations again on 25 years 🎉

I miss my family already! For our 2023 Family reunion, we went back to our roots in Omaha, Nebraska (where my grandmother and her siblings were raised by my great-grandparents, and where my mom was born). Lots of activities and interacting with each other across generations from all over the country. Tons of history to soak up that many of us never knew about/heard before. As @lewjerome said many times in his passionate speech: we're rare! Love y'all. #FamilyOverEverything #FamilyFirst #OTF

Potts Day 2023: Pastries & Parfaits dessert party. Thanks to all that celebrated with me. I got to give big shoutouts to @jabutler01 (owner of @duckdonuts) for supplying two dozen donuts even while being on vacation 🙏🏾. Big shoutout to @lotti_dottie_ (owner of @lottie_treats) for making her viral strawberry cream cheese rolls. Shoutout to @brookie.ashley.b (owner of @cookie_brookie_desserts) for putting together all the parfaits 😋 (even though @chloebailey eventually stole her 😡). Shoutout to @thereddangel for making my all-time favorite dessert, her caramel apple cheesecake bars (seriously, this stuff really needs to be in stores!). Shoutout to my sisters @preachingpretty and @misslissy93 for making Rice Krispie Bars and brownies respectively! Shoutout to @chelle_dockery (and @hop23___ lol) for bringing the cake! Last but not least, shoutout to @napturallychris and @coil_gawdess for providing me with the perfect place to host! I love you all. Signing off for now until next year 🫡.
