our third summer visiting long lake!! if you could taste this video the flavors would be tomatoes and basil, iced jasmine tea and cold banana smoothies. it would smell like bug spray and sunscreen and pancakes and bonfire smoke and wet grass. spending time in this special place, with these special humans, always feels like the warm hug i need and i’m so grateful for our time in summer land with this motley crew🌞

WHAT A YEAR THIS HAS BEEN! I’ve experienced the deepest sadness I’ve ever felt, the heartiest laughs of my life, the biggest stages I’ve ever performed on, the farthest distances I’ve ever traveled, the best wine I’ve ever tasted, the most cherished memories with my family, and the deepest kisses I’ve ever shared with my soulmate - all because of the grace of God! Special thanks to our parents, who relentlessly cheer us on through life. I’m going to unapologetically quote Celine Dion when I say, “We’re everything we are because you loved us.” @corsesj @lovejohn77 Special thanks to @hopeland.church for building a rich community in this city and bringing people closer to the truth of who Jesus is. @jossboss321 & @idoidoido for capturing my most happiest moments. And to my husband @_popaganda_ for your patience and comfort throughout all my emotional ups and downs. We made some big strides this year, and I’m so proud of us!

May 15, 2024 was one of the best days of my life. I had thought that after nine years together, marriage wouldn’t feel any different, but it truly does. Vowing to love you forever before God and our family was an incredibly powerful experience. Witnessing our worlds collide in such a magical way and embracing the joy it brought was unforgettable. Although the weather was colder than expected, the mist made the ceremony feel like a sacred dream. It also tied perfectly with our first dance song, ‘Come in from the Cold’ 😉 Thank you, @ojailabyrinth , for providing us with such a gorgeous landscape. It was the perfect backdrop for our ceremony, and your kindness throughout the planning process gave us great comfort. Thank you, @idoidoido ,for your boundless generosity! My heart is full for the way you went above and beyond to capture our family. And thank you, @fleurderye , for your adaptability and design. Your flower arrangements were the perfect final touches! Thank you @cream.and.ivory for your loving support. My 1970’s dress had good juju from the moment I saw it and I’m so glad I visited your shop the day it opened! I will never forget how sweet you were to me the day my father passed and I wish you nothing but blessings on blessings! Love you all so much💝
