First self-defense workshop is in the books and what a success! We learned from the martial art extraordinaire @enele.m, we practiced our new tactics with each other and we hydrated in community 🤞🏽

Hosted by @juicyygstudios and taught by ‘Enelē Ma’afu, this workshop will teach us essential techniques in a ✨🫂 safe and supportive environment 🫂✨ that will not only sharpen your self-defense skills but also build your confidence and resilience 💪🏾

My favorite part of running are the friends who really become family!
Sorry not sorry GWORLS but y’all stuck with me now 😅🫶🏽

It’s crazy to think we were all strangers just 3 months ago before beginning training for the LA Marathon with @girlgangcrazy
I’m grateful for this new found sisterhood - grateful I now have 20+ women who are down to do all the crazy things but also we gonna make time to be cute and be outsiiidddeee too!

Meet the Ladies…

The font is called Love You Like A Sister….. perfect for how I feel about these ladies.

Each one of them carried me in ways I’ve yet to be able to articulate. I just know when we were on the track or on the road together and I saw them pushing through I was inspired to keep going.

Yes we ran together and we also laughed and danced together. When we saw defeat creeping in one another’s faces or heard one another being too hard on ourselves, we encouraged each other. I don’t know what my first training season would’ve been like without these amazing women and I’m so glad I don’t have to know.

Ok, so I was really trying to keep it simple, I swear. All black play on a suit that’s not really a suit (both @acnestudios but bought separate szns). The focus was supposeddddd to on the jacket who wanna be pants but then, the split knee pants (that aren’t really pants) ended up stealing it. Now you confused, right? Anyway, I gotta stop sewing the day before the function, so chaotic lol.
