🏀 Elite Basketball Tournament Malta 2026 | Six Editions of Growth & International Collaboration 🇲🇹🇺🇸

Proud to have successfully delivered the 6th edition of the Elite Basketball Tournament Malta, another important milestone in the continued development of a project that has grown considerably since its inception.

The 2026 edition brought together several components under one programme: an Elite Basketball Youth Camp, an International Referees Camp, and both Men’s and Women’s international competitions, featuring a total of 8 international games.

Delivering an event of this scale requires much more than what happens on the basketball court. It involves months of strategic planning, stakeholder coordination, international relations, logistics, partnerships, sponsorship, media and operational management—bringing different organisations and people together towards one common objective.

Across six editions, one of the achievements I value most has been developing EBTM as a platform for international collaboration. In particular, the tournament has helped strengthen the sporting relationship between Malta and the United States, using basketball to create connections between athletes, coaches, officials, organisations and communities. 🇲🇹🤝🇺🇸

Seeing the project continue to grow reinforces my belief in the value of leadership, teamwork and long-term vision in turning an idea into a sustainable international sporting event.

Thank you to every organisation, partner, coach, official, player, volunteer and individual who contributed to making EBTM 2026 possible.

Onwards to the next chapter.
