“I thought of all the things I wish I could write about this journey from adolescence, to manhood. I could write about a thousand ways i’ve been through the crucible of trials, through the lows and the highs, and through each sleepless night that I’ve put day in and day out towards scholarly attainment. I’ve endured much pain; losses, heartbreak, mental strain, sickness, even fear of never seeing the light at the end of the scholarly road. Yet, I pushed beyond limits, I still stood tall; fearing none but THE LORD, for it is THE LORD who carries me when I am weary; it is HE who is right beside me and my unwavering faith.

Truth be told, through it all, my only thought & focus is:

PERSEVERANCE.
FOR THOSE WHO WALK WITH FAITH IN GOD.”

Our Charles R. Drew Blood Drive was a success, and we extend our sincere appreciation to everyone who came out and supported this important effort. Whether you donated blood, volunteered your time, helped spread the word, or encouraged someone else to participate, you played a role in helping save lives.

Every donation represents hope for someone in need, and every person who participated demonstrated the power of community and service.

Special thanks to Turtle Hook Middle School PTA and the New York Blood Center for partnering with us to make this event possible.

The Brothers of Sigma Beta Beta Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. remain committed to serving our community and continuing the legacy of Dr. Charles R. Drew.

Give Blood. Save Lives. Make a Difference. 🩸💜💛

The Brothers of Sigma Beta Beta Chapter proudly continued our annual Christmas Toy Drive , reaffirming our commitment to service and community impact.

Because of the continued support of our community, we were once again able to bring holiday joy and smiles to children in need. This tradition is bigger than toys it’s about love, consistency, and showing up year after year.

Thank you to everyone who donated, supported, and helped us keep this tradition strong. We look forward to continuing this legacy of service for many years to come.
