First, I'd like to congratulate LWW on an amazing run, they have a great, young, team and will be a real problem these next few years! Hold your heads high, you represented our community well.

The Knights.... handled business. First half was a 0-0 barn-burner. Who breaks the seal? None other than Syd. As if she doesn't do enough protecting and swarming the middle of the field, she decided to get the party started with a laser. 1-0.

Next up, a free kick from about 20-25 yards. Jules lines it up, I lean over to Hank and whisper, far post is a sure thing. I think Julesifer heard me anyway- sends a bomb far post and shrugs it off like it ain't no thing. 2-0.

Just a few minutes later, in a freak play, Jules cracks one off a defender's shoulder and it takes a pickle ball bounce over the goalie. 3-0.

Not long after, Jules sends Emmy into the box. Instead of trying to take a well-defended lefty, she whips it back to the 6 and Mal was there. Weak side hammer. (My FAVORITE kind of goal). 4-0. Job done.

Defense played great. One real shot on frame and Flynn covered the net like Spider-Man, leaping for a deflection to keep the clean sheet.

Guess what? You're 0-0 now. Sandburg looking for revenge this Friday. Don't stop the train, put the pedal to the metal and bum-rush the Eagles.
