State was pretty peak🔥 4 years ago I never thought I would have competed at state for 2 years in a row! I’m very grateful for my parents, coaches, and teammates for the most unique and exciting moments of these last 4 years! Ski racing has been an incredible part of my life that I will remember forever!

doctors say I’m allergic to retirement Im not done with this sport yet, and I truly can’t put into words what this season and the ones before it have meant to me and shaped me into the person and skier I am today. I couldn’t think of a better team to close out my high school career with. thank you slinger ski for the best 4 years I could have asked for 💗💗 #schlartfordforever

STATE RECAP 🚨🚨🔔🔔‼️‼️ well, that’s a wrap on the season for majority of our varsity athletes!! it was another incredible weekend, filled with SO much fun, lots of memories, and maybe even a few sunburns!☀️ although our skiing may not have gone our way in every event, we never gave up, and always kept pushing for our best! Each athlete never backed down from setbacks, and we still had some AMAZING finishes!!🤩 A few highlights…. 🥳 Grace Kondrakiewicz took a 5th place finish in Sundays GS, qualifying her for Team Wisconsin, a group of 12 who will compete this March at Loveland Ski Area, Colorado! 🏔️🚨 Daley Rabideaux kept her skiing strong and consistent, securing an 8th place overall ranking! 😤 Lincoln Cain had a career best result at the state championships, with a speedy 9th place finish in the boys GS! 🏎️🔥 Girls Varsity fought through a difficult start in Slalom, to turn the heat up for GS and Super-G, and pulled out a 5th place finish overall as a team!! ‼️ And of course, each of our seniors, who competed for one last time at Mt. La Crosse! We are so proud of each of you! #schlartfordforever 🥹🦉 Regardless of their rank, we are so proud of each athlete and their finishes! 🚨RACE DAY RECAP🚨 wow. what a way to end our conference season!! this week left us with our heads high and good energy heading into state and JV conference!! our girls varsity team took home the team dub again, leaving them UNDEFEATED the entire season and CONFERENCE CHAMPS!! our boys varsity team took 3rd, JV girls took 1st, and JV boys took 2nd!! truly amazing work across the board!! not only did our teams kill it, but we had awesome individual finishes as well!!! Huge win for Grace Kondrakiewicz as her individual varsity win secured her spot as FIRST OVERALL IN CONFERENCE 🥳‼️ Brianna Ries also landed at 1st for JV overall in conference!! 🚨RACE DAY RECAP🚨 your oriowls did it again! we were fighting some tougher competition, but that didn’t slow us down!! all of our teams fought to stay on top, and our varsity girls took home their 5th consecutive win of the season ‼️🔥 varsity boys followed just behind in 2nd place, JV boys with a 2nd place finish, and JV girls with another win! truly an amazing night of skiing 🥳 we also had so many people come out and support the team and our seniors, so THANK YOU everyone who came and supported!! not only did we find success as teams, but also some GREAT individual results across the board! 🚨RACE DAY RECAP🚨 it may have been cold, but we brought the HEAAAAT 🔥 what a showing last night!! amazing job birds!! not only did we take the dub across all teams (varsity girls and boys and jv girls and boys!!! 🥳) we also had some amazing individual wins, with an oriowl in first across all four teams!! The huge highlight of the race was with lincoln cain taking his first ever varsity win (by over a second!) and qualifying him for STATEEEE 🚨 Huge congrats to Grace Kondrakiewicz for taking the individual dub for varsity girls, Brianna Ries for jv girls, and Troy Westfall for jv boys!! Amazing work across the board!! The leaders were followed quickly by their teammates, with almost everyone making the top ten!! HEAT. our second race of the season did NOT disappoint, with your varsity girls took away another win 🥳 it was another week of difficult teams as we stacked up against DSHA/ Marquette, Kettle Moraine, Brookfield East, and Tosa/Franklin!! even though the conditions were straight ice, we brough straight heat!🧊🔥 our boys varsity took home an impressive 2nd place, our JV girls took 3rd, and our JV boys took 2nd!! not only did we bring the heat as a team, but also individually, with many, many top ten finishes across all of our teams!
