Happy Monday! It’s another week with my husband out of town and my son leaves Wednesday for his trip to Washington! It’s going to be a busy week.

But, last week amongst the storms and the damage, there were these tiny drops of joy. I was the lucky recipient of a giveaway hosted by @jules_stacksonstacks and @imcasefl! This week my new kindle case came and while I’m obsessed with it, so was my daughter.
👈🏻 to check out the design I chose and the stickers they sent as well! Thank you both so much!

Many thanks to @scribnerbooks for my #gifted copy of 𝘼𝙣 𝙐𝙣𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚𝙡𝙮 𝙑𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙤𝙧.

𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗦𝘆𝗻𝗼𝗽𝘀𝗶𝘀: Margaret, grieving her husband and missing daughter, receives an unlikely visitor and together they search for answers about what happened to Jeanie years ago.

I am excited to dive into this one.

booked with love 💌🏹💘

happy sunday, bookstagram! I hope everyone had a perfect weekend of love and lots of good reads. @readwithlauren_ posted an adorable snapshot of her moments of joy from the last week, and I had such a lovely week as well, I thought I’d share a little recap!

- I finally started my reread of Heir of Fire after waiting 3.5 weeks for my libby loan to come in
- I’ve been feeling baby kicks allllll day every day which is one of the most amazing and special things I’ve ever experienced
- the sun broke through and we had weather in the 50s and 60s this week so we got to spend time outside
- my friend @goodashbakes had a pop-up valentines event with these cutie bento cakes (featured in the picture) and it was easily the best cake I’ve ever eaten

💭 I would love to hear your moment of joy from the last week!

just a girl obsessed with her kindle 🎀

happy friday, bookstagram! I hope everyone had the sweetest holidays. I used to get so sad the days following christmas, but now I love the slow, quiet time in between the holiday and the start of the new year. I’m spending the time (finally) watching Stranger Things season 5, relaxing with family, and reading new books of course!

I’m going to start my very first ever reread of Throne of Glass this weekend as well, and I can’t wait to return to this world and characters!

💭 what are you currently reading?

Merry Christmas Eve Eve! 🤭

It’s snowed so much here over the past month, which means this year we’ll be having a white Christmas (yay!). Having lots of snow on the ground is a must for me at Christmas - it just adds to the magical holiday feeling. ✨

I saw @bookswithcase do the “a few of my favourite things” tag (created by @dreamerwithabook) and knew I had to squeeze it in this week.

💬 What are some of your favourite holiday things?

📖 𝐻𝑜𝓁𝒾𝒹𝒶𝓎 𝒷𝑜𝑜𝓀
⊹₊⟡⋆ Good Spirits by B.K. Borison (a new fave from this year!)
⊹₊⟡⋆ Can I Tell You Something by Holly June Smith

🎬 𝐻𝑜𝓁𝒾𝒹𝒶𝓎 𝒻𝒾𝓁𝓂
⊹₊⟡⋆ The Grinch (2000’s Jim Carrey version)
⊹₊⟡⋆ It’s a Wonderful Life (tear jerker, but a MUST every year!)

🍪 𝐻𝑜𝓁𝒾𝒹𝒶𝓎 𝒻𝑜𝑜𝒹
⊹₊⟡⋆ Cranberry Bliss Bars (made at home)
⊹₊⟡⋆ Peppermint ice cream (or anything peppermint flavoured really)

🌲 𝐻𝑜𝓁𝒾𝒹𝒶𝓎 𝓈𝒸𝑒𝓃𝓉
⊹₊⟡⋆ Anything with cinnamon, cranberries/oranges and just a hint of pine!

☕️ 𝐻𝑜𝓁𝒾𝒹𝒶𝓎 𝒹𝓇𝒾𝓃𝓀
⊹₊⟡⋆ Chestnut Praline Latte
⊹₊⟡⋆ Gingerbread Latte

🎶 𝐻𝑜𝓁𝒾𝒹𝒶𝓎 𝓈𝑜𝓃𝑔
⊹₊⟡⋆ Santa Baby
⊹₊⟡⋆ Let it Snow
⊹₊⟡⋆ Last Christmas
+ so many more! (Tbh I love them all)

🎁 𝐻𝑜𝓁𝒾𝒹𝒶𝓎 𝒶𝑒𝓈𝓉𝒽𝑒𝓉𝒾𝒸
⊹₊⟡⋆ Classic Christmas! Lots of red, green and white, plaid, big bows on presents, incandescent colourful lights…I love anything cozy and classic around this time of year.

happy holiday break ❤️📖🎅🏼❄️

It’s FINALLY WINTER BREAK and as a middle school teacher I have truly never been more ready. I’m already four books into my holiday romance list for the year, and I can’t wait to curl up on the couch for the next two weeks and read even more!

swipe ➡️ to see my favorite holiday rec from last year! The Most Wonderful Crime of the Year by Ally Carter is fun, fast-paced, and keeps you on the edge of your seat with suspense and all of the holiday vibes. Perfect for fans of Knives Out and rivals-to-lovers.
