our first project
lashes by me

Even if lashes aren’t the first thing you notice in an editorial, I think it’s the little details that bring the whole image together.

Lashes are one of those details. From the shape and texture to the way they move, I love how they can blend naturally into the overall mood while still having their own unique charm.

Through this project, I wanted to show that lashes can be more than just a beauty detail . they can be a form of design and self-expression.

Now that I'm back home reflecting on this past year, I can really distinguish between the good and the bad. I will always cherish the friendships I made in England, and the amazing opportunity that I was lucky enough to be able to take. I'm thankful every single day to be done with that school, but I miss the people who made even the worst days better. One day I hope to dance under the rainbow with my best friends again 💖

You Are a Bitch is a photographic series that explores the moments in which women are labelled as “bitch.” Through a gradual zooming-out process, each image reveals the wider context behind an initially ordinary situation, prompting viewers to question why certain behaviours, appearances, or expressions are judged negatively. The project examines how social expectations of femininity continue to shape the ways women are perceived, criticised, and defined.
