Vegas pt 1. Boy do I feel loved by these humans; they flew from all over the country to hang, eat, drink, dance, and connect in the weirdest “city” of all time. I am so grateful for the way so many of them bonded with each other and spent time with me in this totally off the rails celebration of 40 years. Bravo photos up soon but these have their own mantle spot. ❤️🔥💋🎰

In a couple weeks there’s an epic Vegas trip happening for my 40th (thank you @bravoandy for making BravoCon so close to my birthday), and I feel so blessed that 13 amazing humans from around the country said “yeah, for sure I’ll get on a plane to with you while you experience the ultimate Scorpio reality tv extrovert heaven.”

Most of them have never met before, so I wanted them all to meet each other. I started making and sharing these back in July, and I just love them all so much I needed to share.

Such a lucky me to have these loves ❤️

I still don’t think people who didn’t see this show understand what happened in these stadiums this summer. Beyonce is the greatest performer of all time, hands down. This was one of the most important pieces of American political art of all time, hands down. Cowboy Carter the album alone was an epic, an ode, a scream, a plea, a celebration—that we get to be alive at the same time it was conceptualized and executed is a privilege I don’t think any of us understand fully.

As a certified Beyhive member, I did do this rodeo twice. The first time with Fallon I literally stood with my mouth agape. I did not do much but dance and cry for the THREE HOURS she performed IN THE RAIN. I wasn’t 100% sure what I was seeing. The second round with Kendra, Monica, Cassie, and Julia was a PARTY. We were hooting and hollering and cutting up. I noticed the nuances I had missed during that first night of pure awe. I caught the visuals on a second level. Just for Fun cut through me like a knife. Flamenco transformed everything. Tyrant was electric. We went back to Club Renny.

As a white person in America, witnessing this level of Blackness on display and being invited into it, not just from the Queen herself, but from the fandom—the clothing, the hair, the dancing, the gorgeous self expression, was breathtaking. The reclamation of art that has been consistently created by and then stolen from Black folks is tied with the concert itself for the highlight of the experience. As a warmly welcomed guest in the space, I am eternally honored.

This is the artist, and art, of a lifetime. If/when Gd willing the movie of this one comes out—get thee to a theater. I’ll pay for your ticket if you don’t come out at least a little changed.

Some core memories from @themakeupshow NYC 2025 🫶🏽💖🥰💁🏻‍♀️🎨

Other moments that left their wonderful mark on me as an artist are:

🫶🏽 Shopping LOL…my kit has been elevated. One of the things I’m most excited for is what I bought from @mykitco 🙌🏽. The team at the MyKitCo booth were incredible and energetic. Their innovation in MUA organization and station set up are unmatched. I’ve been following them for ages so it feels wonderful to have finally invested into my kit. Also their team has such incredible and fun energy! 💖

🫶🏽Meeting and getting to chat with @makeupwithtoni 😭. You are a light and carry such incredible energy. 💖

🫶🏽Meeting @michaeldevellis of @thepowdergroup 🥰. So excited to learn and lean into the education as a new Powder Group Pro!

🫶🏽Meeting other artists and industry professionals from Boston. I randomly bumped into multiple artists from the Boston area.

🫶🏽Overall getting to be in a room with so many incredible and talented human beings. Truly, I didn’t know where to look because there as art and talent in every direction. 🎨

So…

There is this tremendous human currently roaming earth, and it happens to be her birthday. Since she’s aging backwards, these are 14 things to know…

1. She makes a party wherever she goes
2. She’s proof that 7 feels complete
3. She loves a mid day lobby visit
4. She is equal part cheerleader and mentor
5. An insurance card is all she needs
6. She’ll be there for it all…right up until the very end
7. Shots are always our game .. at any age
8. The girl can strut
9. She can make the Gershman kids canine calm
10. She’s one with the flowers
11. We all want to be her when we grow up
12. She’ll give you the “shirt” off her back
13. You can’t not smile
14. She’s proof that good always wins

Happy birthday Robes. Thank god you’re ours, you are truly Just Enough❤️

This is not who or where or what I thought 39 would be but wow to be loved by these people in these ways is such a blessing. Thank you, to everyone who showed up and out this weekend. To everyone who sent words of love and affirmation from afar. To my closest ones who answer every time I need them esp when I’m crying on my bday because antidepressants/singleandalmost40/stomach problems/it’s too dark/the world is on fire/I just want someone to take care of me.

I am lucky beyond measure. I love you to life. Let’s do it, 39. The stars say this is a big one.

✨FITISH TURNS FOUR✨

my grandma used to tell us “you plan and God laughs”, and boy oh boy is that what year three felt like.

the past six months have been filled with trying to refind my balance - both as a person and a business owner. FITISH at its core, is that. it’s about finding that space where you can be YOU. without giving anything up. without any apologizes or excuses. it’s just you, as you’re meant to be.

as I climb my way back to balance - I want to be clear on how immensely grateful I am to this community. to YOU.

any time I thought people forgot about FITISH I randomly received a message of someone reaching out to check in. anytime I thought about giving up and closing down - an order was placed. any time i felt like this dream of mine may be over, i received words of encouragement. it is always the little things that help us find peace & continue on.

so although the last few months haven’t looked like i had hoped - I am still here fighting my way back with grit & grace.

to anyone who sent a note, a text, a dm, an order - THANK YOU. it has carried me along 🤍

in the words of @itsshacarri - we’re not back, we’re better.

see you soon,
erica
