After more than a decade away, coming back to choreograph for @choreographers_carnival felt like stepping into a time capsule with glitter on it. ✨

This stage was my regular home as a dancer. Back in 2009 at the Key Club, I premiered one of the first Bollywood pieces ever presented at Carnival, then returned creating work for the next four years.

To stand here again, years later, with @karmagraphy still evolving and still standing strong with @frankjsoares by my side...feels incredibly special.

This piece reminded me why I fell in love with creating in the first place. No clients. No budgets. No expectations. Just movement, storytelling, connection, and the joy of building a story with an insanely talented cast.

Feeling deeply grateful to still be in this game after all these years… and nowhere near done yet. ❤️

This movie theme was the perfect playground for us, so sit back, Netflix & chill, and watch this cast absolutely leave it all on the floor. 🎬🔥 #kavitaraochoreography #karmagraphy #carnivalchoreographersball Choreographer: @kavitadance

What you see, is what she did. This image is NOT photoshopped to remove a box underneath her. It’s her skill and talent that allowed her to do this.

Let’s create together. Let’s work together. It’s easier than you think and I promise that we will create images that you will be proud of….
