Thank you so much @batesdancefestival, I learned so much over my three weeks here about myself both as an artist and person. I hope that I can carry so many of the practices and other things that I've learned with me into my college and adulthood experiences. I won't forget the people who surrounded me and showed me immense amounts of compassion and empathy. I hold every memory of every person dear to my heart and it always inspires me to see how unique we all are both as individuals and artists. I can't wait to be reunited with my BDF family, no matter how long it takes!

Congratulations to these three 2026 ADC Scholarship Recipients. Sydney was awarded the Performance Company Scholarship not only for her dedication to PCO but more importantly her dedication to the art of dance and her personal growth as an artist. She is a leader and a true performer. Sammy received the @laylalynnbober Memorial Foundation Scholarship for her leadership in the classroom as an assistant and role model to younger ADC dancers. Sammy’s positivity and desire to help others make her a perfect candidate for this honor. Last but never least is Julia who received the ADC Scholarship Award. Julia’s passion tor all things dance and her unselfish, open, hardworking nature make her a standout recipient for the senior studio award. Congratulations to all three! We are so grateful for your contributions to the studio. You left big shoes to fill. 💕
